Laura has two young children with Angelman Syndrome, a rare neuro-genetic disorder that involves lack of speech, epilepsy, developmental delay, profound intellectual impairment and behavioural challenges.

In this video Laura talks about the app Tools2Talk+ and how it has helped her to create customised communication supports for her children, such as visual schedules, timetables and social stories.

Laura has been able to use this app to develop these communication aids while she waits for services to provide them. This is critical when supporting children and adults with communication difficulties, who rely on these aids for their communication. Laura has found the app to be user friendly, intuitive and an important tool to build support interaction with her children.
