Megan and Tristan from Shannon Park Lifestyles Options enjoyed a day of skating on the ice at the O’Brien Group Arena at Docklands. The ice skating program for people of all abilities was facilitated by Caterina Kasiaras from Scope’s Community Inclusion team and the venue is fully accessible with a hoist and change table available.

Megan and Tristan enjoy the ice while Fiona and Gab do their best to stay upright!

Megan and Tristan made the long trek from Barwon to check out all the action and they were supported by the equally enthusiastic Fiona and Gab. Although they made a great effort once on the rink, Gab said that she was relieved that volunteers with some actual ice skating ability were on hand to support some of the more intricate manoeuvres that Tristan and Megan wanted to perform!
