The University of Melbourne’s Social Equity Institute (MSEI) is hosting an upcoming conference on Disability, Human Rights and Social Equity.

With the rollout of the NDIS, the conference aims to encourage researchers from a range of disciplines to engage with people living with disability.

Following an opening night cultural and arts event, a range of sessions will provide opportunities for reflecting on and discussing how best to develop and support research that focuses on changing the social, economic and physical environments that currently prevent social equity for people living with disability.

The event will be hosted at the University of Melbourne Law School, from 3 – 5 February 2016.
