Royal Commission issues papers

Issues papers are an important part of the Disability Royal Commission’s engagement with the Community. An issues paper allows for members of the public to provide feedback on topics from people with disability as well as other people.

The issues paper will outline the topic for the public hearing, the reason for investigating that topic and provides a list of questions about the topic that is important to the Commissions enquiry.

Scope’s Whistleblower policy

The new Scope Whistleblower Policy includes information about whistleblowing, and how Scope will respond to and investigate disclosures and protect whistleblowers.

Easy English Disability Royal Commission booklet

Scope, in conjunction with CiRC, have developed an Easy English booklet that explains what the Royal Commission is about, how to contact the Commission and how to access help if you need it.

Royal Commission Accessibility and Inclusion Strategy

The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability has released its Accessibility and inclusion strategy (the Strategy).

The Strategy outlines the principles that will guide the Royal Commission in its engagement with people with disability. It commits the Royal Commission to putting people with disability first in everything they do and explains how they will achieve this.
