Scope has built a new respite service in South Morang in Vincent Drive. This new service has been developed with the advice and support from the families that currently access Scope support services in the area. Through the generous contribution of the Whittlesea council and fundraising efforts, this exciting development will allow us to provide respite to up to six families per night.
We are holding a series of open days where people can come and have a look at the house and ask our experienced team any questions they may have about respite or what Scope can do for individuals living with a disability.
Our respite services are designed to give individuals a short holiday, grow their independence and support them to get out and about in the community. Respite is also a chance for families and carers to relax and take a short break from their daily routine.
