Panel presenters announced for the Scope – University of Melbourne Innovation for Inclusion webinar
Dr Shane Clifton (Assistant Director of Policy at the Disability Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability), Dr Rosemary Kayess (Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities), Ricky Kremer (Project Worker at the Council for Intellectual Disability), Justine O’Neill (CEO of Council for Intellectual Disability), and Brandon Tomlin (Communication Access Mentor at Scope) will join the panel at the upcoming Scope – University of Melbourne partnership event.
The free public event will be held virtually on Thursday 25 November 2021 from 12.30pm – 2.00pm. It will explore the topic of Innovation for Inclusion with a panel of experts.
The event will include both live and pre-recorded presentations, followed by a Q&A session facilitated by Professor Keith McVilly, Scope-University of Melbourne Professorial Fellow of Disability and Inclusion.
The Scope – University of Melbourne partnership aims to improve the lives of individuals living with disabilities through research and the promotion of programs that empower them.
The partnership is consistent with Scope’s mission of supporting people with disability to live as equal and empowered citizens.
The Innovation for Inclusion webinar presents an opportunity for community conversation leading into the International Day of People with Disability on Friday 3 December.
