Scope and University of Melbourne

Scope is pleased to announce that we have formed a valuable partnership with The University of Melbourne to improve the lives of individuals living with disabilities through research and the promotion of programs that empower them.

This exciting collaboration will produce applied research that influences disability policies and significantly raises awareness of the challenges in this area by combining the expertise of Scope and University Of Melbourne.

Together, we will develop a high quality applied research, policy development, advocacy and education program focusing on disability. The cornerstone of the partnership is a jointly funded Professorial Fellow, leading the joint research, teaching and events programs. The Professorial Fellow, as the Head of Strategic Research at Scope Australia, will lead and direct Scope’s research agenda, manage existing and new research programs and supervise research staff. Scope is looking forward to what this partnership will allow us to do for people living with a disability to enrich their lives in a meaningful way.
