Scope set to bring greater choice to people with disability in New South Wales

Scope Aust. national expansion officially underway.

With a commitment to delivering high-quality services and a better customer experience, Scope will be an alternative to other service providers across New South Wales (NSW) with a focus on choice.

“As one of the largest and most trusted disability providers in Australia, we are excited to extend our services into NSW,” said Dr Jenny Fitzgerald AM, Chief Executive Officer, Scope Aust.

“At Scope, we are passionate about people and turning hopes and dreams into reality. As we expand into NSW, we will bring this passion to supporting people with disability to achieve their goals and bring possibilities to life.”

NSW is the largest NDIS market in Australia and, combined with Victoria, accounts for two-thirds of NDIS participants.

“An expansion into NSW is simply a natural step for our organisation as we continue to advocate at a national level for equality and independence for people with disability,” said Dr Fitzgerald.

With a successful record in rapid expansion, following the acquisition of 226 supported residential living homes from the Victorian Government in 2019 and the subsequent transition of more than 1,300 residents and customers to the NDIS, Scope has the experience and is well positioned to embrace the NSW disability sector.

To be led by Lee Carpenter, Scope Chief Growth Officer, the newly established, highly knowledgeable, and experienced foundation team will draw on Scope’s existing 4,000 strong workforce to support the national expansion.

“Scope is now open for business in NSW,” said Lee.

“We are looking forward to providing greater choice in disability services to more people, and most importantly in their local communities.”

“Initially specialising in Support Coordination and Individualised Living Options, followed shortly thereafter to addressing customer needs for Supported Independent Living, we are 100% committed to enabling each person we support across NSW to live their best life and achieve their goals,” said Lee.
