Scope’s response to coronavirus hotspot suburbs
Scope continues to be vigilant with the coronavirus pandemic.
With the increase of coronavirus cases in some areas of Melbourne and Victoria, we’re going to temporarily close centre based services in those areas – lifestyle options and therapy services.
Therapy customers will continue to have access to telepractice.
We’ll work with our lifestyle options customers to support them at home.
Our teams in Supported Independent Living and STAA continue to adhere to the same strict guidelines for infection control and physical distancing as before. Over the last few months, they’ve done a fantastic job keeping customers safe.
In line with the government’s guidelines, frontline staff who live in these priority areas are still able to come to work unless they can work from home. Staff who live in those areas are also being offered testing by the government.
If you’re a family member of community partner, we’re still following the same visitor rules as before. However, everyone should still consider the need for face to face visits carefully and talk to us beforehand.
Let’s keep working together to slow the spread of the virus and keep each other safe.
