State Disability Plan 2013-2016 questionnaire

We would appreciate it if you could promote the questionnaire through your networks

We have developed a questionnaire that asks about the experiences of adults with a disability in some of the important life areas covered by the plan since it was launched in 2013. The questionnaire is sent out every 6 months and we are going to compare this questionnaire to the same one we did in April 2014 and in October 2014 to see if anything has changed. Answers to the questionnaire will be used to help government improve their services and increase the participation of people with a disability in all areas of life.

We would appreciate it if you could promote the questionnaire through your networks such as the Disability Planners Network so that as many people with a disability as possible get to have their say. All answers will be treated confidentially and anonymously.

Please note that the questionnaire is for:

  • all people with a disability – not just people who receive a Disability Support Pension or other government support
  • who are over 18
  • who live in Victoria

The questionnaire is open until 29 May 2015. It will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. It is available in different formats or can be filled out by telephone.

The Victorian Government recently announced that development will begin on the State Disability Plan for 2017-2020. Feedback from this survey will also help us shape the next plan.
