Visitable & Adaptable Features in Housing — Regulatory Impact (2010)

Changes to the Building Code of Australia are proposed that will require private homes to include a limited number of features to improve access for people with disabilities.

Scope supports the alteration to the Building Code in Victoria and recommends that all proposed items for improving access to private homes be adopted as soon as is practical.
