What is short term accommodation?
Short Term Accommodation is where you spend a short amount of time living with others. Under the NDIS, Short Term Accommodation and Assistance replaces Respite Care.
It’s a great option if you want to live independently one day, but you don’t feel ready to make the big move just yet.
By spending short stays with us, you can see what it’s like to live with others. You learn skills like sharing, cooking, and socialising. Even better, you can book your stay at the same time as your friends.
Our Short Term Accommodation is available for people with physical, intellectual, or multiple disabilities. We have homes throughout Victoria for both children and adults (note that children and adults are accommodated separately).
