Whether you need support to live more independently, or assistance with safe eating and drinking, we have a range of NDIS funded products and access to specialised support to help you to meet your goals.

Our Team has a combined 250 years’ experience working with people with complex physical disability, and most services have short to no-wait times.

We strive to enable each person we support to live their best life through the delivery of evidence-based services.

What services are available?

Mealtime Assessment and swallowing

A speech pathologist will review your eating and drinking skills and develop a Mealtime Management (safe eating) Plan.

This includes:

  • 1-2 assessment sessions in person or through telepractice
  • Written guidelines outlining how to provide safe mealtime support for you
  • Recommendations about equipment such as cutlery which will help you to eat safely and independently (if required)
  • Basic training for your support staff and/or family
  • Return travel (within NDIS guidelines)

Supported Independent Living Assessment (SIL assessment)

If you’re looking to move into specialist disability accommodation our therapists can assist by assessing your needs and providing recommendations to support a successful transition.

This includes:

  • Initial interview
  • Formal assessment
  • Functional observations
  • Liaison with other professionals
  • Written report with recommendations
  • Feedback meeting to discuss report
  • Return travel (within NDIS guidelines)

Pressure care/and preventive measures

We can assist in the prevention and management of pressure injuries for customers with reduced mobility through the prescription of equipment such as pressure care cushions, mattresses, or overlays.

This may include:

  • Assessment of your needs, history and goals
  • Development of a seating or positioning program
  • Prescription of pressure case equipment
  • Collaboration with your support, medical team and wound nurse
