Did you know 2.1 million people with disability are of working age?
This represents a large potential workforce, one of the reasons there is increased interest in inclusive employment. Employers who hire people with disability in meaningful roles report a range of benefits including:
- Increased productivity: A diverse workplace allows for more ideas and improved processes, leading to increased productivity.
- Improved awareness and acceptance: People with disability bring a diverse range of skills, abilities, and perspectives to the workplace, allowing companies to better deal with the different nuances within a global marketplace.
- Positive brand experience for customers: A diverse workplace promotes a positive reputation, increases marketplace awareness, and generates a more diverse client base.
Employers have reported that they would consider employing a person with disability but are not sure how to find the right person and what role would be suitable. Through customised employment, Scope can help businesses identify inclusive employment opportunities and jobseekers with disability who are keen to secure long-term work.

The Customised Employment process
The first step is to take job seekers through a comprehensive discovery phase to unpack each person’s skills, strengths, and interests and how they can apply these in a work environment.
Our staff then work with employers to identify potential job opportunities suitable for our job seekers.
Scope manages the entire process, so the needs of the job seeker and the employer are well matched at all stages. You can read more about the customised employment process for job seekers here.
