At Boronia, there’s always something fun and engaging happening every day. From creative arts and fitness programs to community outings and social activities, our programs are designed to help you build confidence, friendships, and independence.

Our weekly calendar includes:

  • Creative workshops like pottery, painting, and craft-making
  • Fitness and movement sessions, including hydrotherapy and group exercise
  • Cooking and life skills programs that support independence
  • Music, dance, and social clubs that bring joy and connection
  • Community outings to local cafés, events, and special excursions

Hear from our participants

Patricia recently joined Boronia Social Connections with a goal of exploring new programs and reconnecting with her interest in gardening. Since starting, Patricia has tried a range of activities including Café Outings and the Pottery Program, before discovering a strong passion for gardening. She worked alongside staff member Milton to weed and replant the vegetable garden at Boronia, planting leeks, sugar snap peas and cos lettuce that will later be used in cooking programs. Moving forward, Patricia hopes to continue developing her gardening skills and remain actively involved in maintaining and contributing to the garden.
