Glen Waverley Social Connections is a day program that supports people with disability to build friendships, take part in community activities, and develop everyday life skills. The program provides a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where participants can engage in meaningful group activities, explore new experiences, and work toward greater independence.
The Glen Waverley Social Connections day program is designed for people with disability who want to improve social skills, build friendships, and participate in both centre-based and community-based activities. Programs are tailored to each participant's individual goals, interests, strengths, and support needs. Whether day program funding is included in an NDIS plan is determined by the NDIA based on individual circumstances.
At Glen Waverley Social Connections day program, participants enjoy activities including interactive music with MusiCool Maestro’s, sensory art, beauty therapy, cooking, book club, armchair travel and games. These programs encourage creativity, learning, social connection and self-expression.
