Ringwood Social Connections is a day program that supports people with disability to build friendships, take part in community activities, and develop everyday life skills. The program provides a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where participants can engage in meaningful group activities, explore new experiences, and work toward greater independence.
The Ringwood Social Connections day program is designed for people with disability who want to improve social skills, build friendships, and participate in both centre-based and community-based activities. Programs are tailored to each participant's individual goals, interests, strengths, and support needs. Whether day program funding is included in an NDIS plan is determined by the NDIA based on individual circumstances.
At Ringwood Social Connections day program, participants enjoy Around the World Experiences, creative expression, fitness and social activities. Programs include cooking, crafts, music, art, scrapbooking, massage, swimming, dancing and bowling, along with special events such as Hawaiian Week and farewell celebrations.
At Ringwood Social Connections, participants enjoy community outings to local cafés and pubs, along with bowling, swimming and other social activities. Special events and celebrations also provide opportunities to connect with friends and neighbouring centres.
Ringwood Social Connections day program aims to support skill development through structured programs that focus on communication, independence, confidence building, and daily living skills.
