Simon races to Monster Jam

If you’re a monster truck enthusiast like Simon, the Monster Jam show was the place to be!

As a lifelong monster truck fan, Simon’s family bought him the perfect birthday present, tickets to the world’s biggest monster truck event, Monster Jam.

Simon, a Scope resident in Geelong, couldn’t wait to roll into Melbourne to witness the high-flying stunts, gravity-defying tricks and speed racing.

Keen to make the most of a day trip to Melbourne, Simon and Disability Support Worker, Tracy, strolled along the Yarra before the show, where Simon enjoyed stopping to watch the buskers.

Simon had early access to the “Pit Party”, where he happily waited in the queue for over 20 minutes to take photos with the trucks.

“Simon has monster truck posters all over his room and was so excited to experience the massive Monster Jam trucks up close, in-person”, said Tracy.

Simon loved the thrill-seeking entertainment, and his favourite part of the show was watching the cars crash and get towed off the track by the big Cat machinery.

“Luckily, Simon remembered what floor we parked on when we were leaving, as I had completely forgotten!”, Tracy added.

Sounds like a roaring day!
