Hello everyone,

The past few months have been a very exciting time at Scope, and as our loyal supporters I am delighted to share our news with you.

In July Scope launched a new look and feel to our brand following the bringing together of our Victorian and New South Wales operations under the one Scope banner. This union was many months in the making but will enable Scope to offer more services to more people over a larger geographical area. We look forward to sharing stories about some of these new services with you in this, and future editions.

Our new look, which is incorporated into our new newsletter design, better reflects who we are and

what we do and aligns with our purpose of creating meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to belong and thrive. I hope you like it! As Australia’s leading disability services provider,

Scope has a long and proud history of supporting people with disability. In fact, on 17 August we

celebrated 75 years since Scope was established. This is a significant milestone which has been recognised across the organisation by sharing the stories of our past, our experience, and our dreams for the future.

I am very mindful that much of what we have accomplished over this time could not have been achieved without your support and those who have supported us in the past. It is humbling to know there are so many people who are committed to working together to make such a positive impact on the lives of the people with disability.

Once again, thank you for your support, particularly those who responded to our recent appeal. It is very much appreciated and continues to make a difference to so many people.

With gratitude,

Kate MacRae
