MiSO, a measurement online tool
After 10 years of hard work Scope and software partner SocialSuite have developed a practical online app called MiSO to measure outcomes in the disability sector.
Scope is one of the largest not-for-profit disability service providers in Australia, supporting thousands of people with intellectual, physical, and multiple disabilities. Scope operates across Victoria and New South Wales through more than 425 service locations. Along with delivering services for people with a disability, Scope also conducts research and other activities (e.g., advocacy, education) to improve the lives of people with disability.
Scope is making available a yearly $30,000 research grant to fund research conducted by experienced researchers or graduate research students with lived experience of disability. The grant is in honour of Dr Jennifer Fitzgerald who was Scope’s Chief Executive Officer from 2012 until 2022.

Scope awards research grant to Monash Krongold Clinic to build capacity in young people with a disability
Scope has awarded the Dr Jennifer Fitzgerald Research Grant to the research team from Monash University’s Krongold Clinic, which will enable co-creation of a digital toolkit that empowers young people with disability to engage in community programs in ways that builds their autonomy and competence.
