Scope is one of the largest not-for-profit disability service providers in Australia, supporting thousands of people with intellectual, physical, and multiple disabilities. Scope operates across Victoria and New South Wales through more than 425 service locations. Along with delivering services for people with a disability, Scope also conducts research and other activities (e.g., advocacy, education) to improve the lives of people with disability.

Scope is making available a yearly $30,000 research grant to fund research conducted by experienced researchers or graduate research students with lived experience of disability. The grant is in honour of Dr Jennifer Fitzgerald who was Scope’s Chief Executive Officer from 2012 until 2022.
