A supported independent Living (SIL) provider offers tailored support and assistance within the home to help you live independently. This includes things such as Personal care, cooking, cleaning.
A Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider is responsible for things such as collecting rent and organising maintenance of the SDA enrolled dwelling, they may or may not be the landlord.
This is the type of assistance provided overnight within the home. There is both Active (‘Active Night’) and Inactive (‘Sleepover’) funding available and this is determined based on your needs.
The current residents are all males, aged in their 60s to 70s.
They attend day programs most days and enjoy gardening, cooking and going out for drives.
The house is also near parks, gardens, cafes, restaurants, and Parkmore Shopping Centre.
The house is close to public transport, including buses and the Yarraman train station.
Open plan kitchen, meals and living areas provide ample space for quiet time and socialising.
Spacious backyard with undercover sitting area.
The main bathroom is wheelchair accessible with a stepless shower, bath, accessible vanity and toilet.
The second bathroom has a separate toilet, shower and vanity.
Bedroom features a built robe as well as heating and cooling.
