At Benalla, we host social outing’s that focus on socialising with others, as well as developing independence and life skills for all ages. Some of these outings include attending disco’s, parks and gardens, community centre programs and art galleries.

What’s happening at Benalla Social Connections?
Located in the heart of regional Victoria, Benalla Social Connections offers a welcoming space where participants can build skills, make friends, and enjoy being part of the community.
Our weekly programs are designed to encourage independence, creativity, and fun, both in and outside the centre.
Some of our popular activities include:
• Community Outings -Ten Pin Bowling, fishing trips, library visits, and our Coffee Club for catching up with friends.
• Cooking & Life Skills -Learn budgeting, shopping, and preparing meals together in our modern kitchen.
• Creative Arts & Technology -Art, craft, and switch games to explore imagination and build confidence.
• Health & Wellbeing -Swimming, gym sessions, dance, and personal hygiene programs to support independence.
• Social Events -Monthly Men’s and Ladies Nights Out, bringing everyone together for laughter and connection.
We also offer 1:1 support in group or community settings, helping each person reach their goals in a way that suits them.
