Make a powerful, life-changing gesture by including Scope in your Will. Your generosity will help us continue our vital work for people with a disability.

Scope has been supporting people with a disability for over 75 years. Every day, we work hard to drive change in the community. We shift attitudes, improve inclusion and access, and advocate for disability rights — so more people can achieve their goals, and live their lives as empowered and equal citizens.

You can help us continue this important work. By including a gift in your Will to Scope, you’re helping us continue with today’s efforts and ensure we can provide meaningful support for future generations, too. No matter how small, your legacy will help make a difference.

How can I include Scope in my Will?

There are many ways in which you can leave a gift in your Will to Scope. After you’ve cared for your loved ones, you could consider leaving a gift in the form of:

  • The residue of your estate after expenses
  • A fixed percentage of your estate
  • A specific sum of money
  • A specific item such as a share portfolio, jewellery or artwork

Examples of what you could add in your Will

It’s important to get the wording right in your Will. We recommend that you speak with your solicitor or lawyer before you commit to anything.

As a guide, though, you could include wording like:

  • “I give to Scope (Aust) Ltd (ABN 63 004 280 871), the residue of my estate to be used for its general purposes. The receipt of an authorised officer or treasurer of Scope (Aust) Ltd will be sufficient discharge for my executors.”
  • “I give to Scope (Aust) Ltd (ABN 63 004 280 871) a ____% share of my estate to be used for its general purposes. The receipt of an authorised officer or treasurer of Scope (Aust) Ltd will be sufficient discharge for my executors.”
  • “I give to Scope (Aust) Ltd (ABN 63 004 280 871) the sum of $_____ to be used for its general purposes. The receipt of an authorised officer or treasurer of Scope (Aust) Ltd will be sufficient discharge for my executors.”
