Constitution

Scope was formed as a charitable organisation to advance the wellbeing of people with a disability, through alignment with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disability (2006) and Australia's human rights statutory framework.

Code of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct signals our collective commitment and promise to each other and our customers. It provides guidance to all our employees on how we maintain trust, do things right and act in a manner that we say we will do.

Privacy Policy

Scope understands that your privacy is important.

Our Privacy Policy sets out how we protect your privacy and manage your personal information. It applies to all people we interact with, including our clients and employees.

Whistleblower Policy

Our Whistleblower Policy includes information about whistleblowing, and how Scope will respond to and investigate disclosures and protect whistleblowers.

Modern Slavery Statement

Our Modern Slavery Statement demonstrates our commitment to supporting and advancing human rights in all aspects of our work, and to compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018.

Gender Equality Statement

Scope is committed to celebrating diversity, promoting inclusion, and fostering a fair and equitable workplace where everyone is supported to belong and thrive. Scope recognises the detrimental effects of gender pay gaps in the workplace and is dedicated to addressing these disparities among our people.

Workplace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Our Workforce Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy states Scope’s commitment to building an environment where all employees are supported, respected, valued and enabled to thrive. Scope is required to report annually to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and has been compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 since it was passed.

Service Agreement Terms

Our Service Agreement Terms provide our clients with clear details about what they can expect from a Scope service. The Terms set out our commitment to clients and the clients’ obligations and rights. They reflect a person-centred approach with language in line with NDIS Practice Standards. Terms are signed the first time a Service Agreement is put in place with us, or when they are updated. An Easy English version is available here.

Fraud and Corruption Prevention Policy

The Fraud and Corruption Prevention Policy promotes a culture of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. The policy outlines the types of behaviours that constitute fraud and corruption and enables individuals to identify and report such conduct appropriately. The policy also outlines Scope’s commitment to preventing money laundering and terrorism financing activities from being carried out using the organization's resources or financial dealings.

Disability Action Plan

Developing a Disability Action Plan is our way of demonstrating commitment to doing all we can to remove discriminatory barriers and ensure people with disability are able to enjoy the same rights, opportunities, and responsibilities as everyone else.
