Are you or someone in your life looking for living options?

Scope works with you and your support network to consider the types of living options available, and determine what will best suit your needs and preferences.

Individualised Living Options (ILO) is a support model that enables you to choose the home you live in and your support requirements, providing you with true choice and control. Together, we will explore different options focused on combining formal and informal supports to create long lasting solutions. Maybe you want to live alone or live with others. There are a variety of living arrangements specified by the NDIS:

Living in your own home

Co-Residency: support resides full time or part time in your home.

Living Alone: support is provided in your home in a variety of ways.

Living Together: you live with other people of your choice and receive support.

Living in someone else’s home

Host Arrangements: you reside full time in the home of a non-related host who provides your support.

We start with an exploration phase to understand your housing and support wants and needs. A trained and experienced ILO Support Coordinator works with you and your family to identify your needs, fill any gaps, and design a support framework that incorporates both formal and informal supports.

The ILO Support Coordinator will identify strategies to support informed decision making around where to live, who to live with and supports required. You will be provided with a variety of possible options, potential risks to consider, and tools to make an informed decision on the final design.

The Support Coordinator will also work with allied health professionals to gain the appropriate evidence to support the design. You will receive a report and service proposal outlining your preferred design, which will include risk mitigation strategies, outline responsibilities of all parties involved, and detail your housing and supports needs.

The Scope approach

We have trained and experienced Support Coordinators that guide you and your family through the ILO process. Our team follow a specialised and interactive framework designed to unpack your wants and needs to develop a living arrangement that best suits you.

We can assist you to find housing that is appropriate for your needs and support you with mainstream, public and NDIS funded housing applications. Get in touch to discuss your ILO needs.

Yes: A guide to talking about the Voice referendum
