Scope wins bid to tackle rising cyber risks
Scope is pleased to be one of only nine recipients of the eSafety Commissioner’s 2022 Online Safety Grants.

As an organisation committed to the rights and wellbeing of people with disability, we are appalled by these incidents. They highlight an unacceptable failure to provide safe and respectful services to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Abuse, neglect, and exploitation have no place in any service, especially those relied upon by the disability community. People with disability, their families and carers place their trust in transport providers to help them connect into their community and access the services they need.
The trust placed in transport providers must be met with unwavering integrity. Every person, regardless of ability, deserves to travel with dignity, respect, and confidence.
At Scope, we have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of abuse and remain deeply committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people we support. We will continue to encourage and support our clients and staff to act bravely and report any issues or concerns, both within our service and the community.
We also acknowledge the distressing nature of these reports. If you have found the recent media coverage confronting and would like to seek support, please reach out to Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636.
