At Ballarat Central we offer a great variety in program activities for people to try and have fun. It is an opportunity to meet new people and develop friendships.
Why we’re different at Ballarat Social Connections?
Programs are developed to meet the needs of the individual and the supports provided to meet your goals. The programs offer a chance to develop new skills and independence, also create opportunities to express yourself.
We offer a holiday program week exploring opportunities in the Ballarat region or a trip to Melbourne.
There is an annual get away which includes 3 days 2nights away to a different destination each year.

At Ballarat Central, there’s always something fun and engaging happening each day. From creative and movement-based programs to community outings and social activities, our programs support confidence, friendships and independence.
- Horse riding at Daylesford
- Drama Stars – build your imagination and express yourself.
- Find Your Rhythm – explore music, sing and dance
- Rising Bakers – create new single serve treats
- Cooking with Confidence – learn kitchen skills, shopping to cooking and eating.
- Seek adventure keeping active– explore the outdoors, sports, adaptive fitness
- Scrap Booking moments – interests hobbies memories
- Colourful Minds Art and crafts – exploring different art forms and crafty ideas.
- Community activities include Dance, Gymnastics, Ten Pin Bowling, Basketball stadium, aquatic Centre.
