We also run Social Saturdays where participants explore Melbourne’s top attractions, from concerts and dinners to sporting events and theatre shows. After 3pm, our Master Classes and Drama Club let you build confidence, learn new skills, and perform at the end of each term.

Located in Ballarat Central, Skills for Life offers a wide range of engaging, hands-on activities designed to help participants learn, grow, and have fun.
Some of our popular activities include:
- Shop Cook Eat Plan, prepare, and enjoy meals together.
- Market Garden Care for plants and chickens while learning sustainable living.
- Woodwork & Upcycling Build, create, and recycle materials into something new.
- Stitch Lab Learn sewing by hand or on a machine.
- Tech Titans Build digital skills and explore new technology.
- Music & Arts Hub Join in group singing, craft, and creative projects.
- Fitness & Wellbeing Yoga, meditation, and fun team sports.
- Volunteering (Meals on Wheels) Give back to the community and build work-ready skills.
We also host exciting highlights throughout the year including the Makers Market, South Street All-Inclusive Performance, Having a Say Conference, and a 3-day annual getaway to destinations like Geelong, Warrnambool, or Phillip Island.
