At Golden North (Bendigo) Social Connections, we’re proud to offer one of the largest secured indoor–outdoor centres in the region, built specifically for people with disability.

Our centre features an art studio, on-site gym, community garden, and calming sensory room, creating spaces that inspire creativity, wellbeing, and connection.

What’s happening at Golden North (Bendigo) Social Connections?
Every day at Golden North (Bendigo) is filled with creativity, movement, and fun. Whether you enjoy art, sports, cooking, or community outings, there’s something for everyone to get involved in.
Some of our most popular programs include:
• All Abilities Sports -Balloon footy, hockey, lawn bowls, and swimming.
• Creative Programs -Hands-on art, stage and song, and our “Creative Creations Enterprises.”
• Cooking & Life Skills -Learn to cook, garden, and build everyday independence.
• Community Outings -Coffee clubs, bowling, and day trips to Melbourne and local attractions.
• Health & Wellbeing -Yoga, sensory relaxation, and “Ground-Level Movers” fitness sessions.
We also host fun days with local entertainers, community events like R U OK? Day, and special excursions to the MCG, Aquarium, ArtVo, and Kyabram Fauna Park.
