Connect, Learn, Grow!

At Ringwood Social Connections, every day is a celebration of learning, laughter, and community

Why we’re different at Ringwood Social Connections?

Our centre offers a relaxed and inclusive environment where participants can build confidence, make friends, and discover new experiences, all while having fun.

What makes Ringwood unique:

  • A creative monthly program called “Around the World” that explores global cultures through cooking, art, music, and relaxation activities
  • Programs developed with participants, ensuring genuine choice and engagement
  • A strong sense of teamwork, care, and belonging across staff and clients
  • A welcoming and peaceful space where everyone feels valued and supported

What’s happening at Ringwood Social Connections?

There’s always something happening at Ringwood! Our programs are hands-on, community-focused, and designed to support independence and wellbeing.

Some of our activities include:

  • Around the World Experiences -cooking, crafts, and music inspired by different countries and cultures
  • Creative Expression -art, scrapbooking, and massage programs that promote relaxation and fun
  • Fitness and Social Activities -swimming, dancing, bowling, and outings to local cafés or pubs
  • Special Events -themed celebrations like Hawaiian Week and farewell parties with neighbouring centres

Currently, the team is also renovating the back deck to create a brand-new program space, making Ringwood even more welcoming and versatile.

Ringwood is good, its better for me, I like cooking with Sean and I like cooking from other countries, I understand it because I come from Holland. I like the folders we look at for massage and pamper.

We have a beautiful caring culture with a very understanding disposition. I love my role as coordinator and have an open-door policy for both clients and staff alike. The team here at RSC are always looking for better ways to improve our programs, calibrating our ideas, there is a real sense of belonging."

Chris

DWS

"When I came back from Brisbane, I wanted to go back to scope Lilydale as I have worked there before but about 6 months later, I heard Mandi was going to move to Ringwood day centre as the coordinator and I asked if I could follow her due to expanding my knowledge, and start at a new Centre. When I started here it was in a rebuilding stage, and we had some new staff start and it is now one of the strongest teams I’ve ever worked with and the relationships we have with our clients is unbelievable."
